Preparation is Important
Your international moving company will tell you that the key to transporting your vehicle safely and securely is preparing it well for the transport process. Most movers have the proven expertise with respect to packing the vehicle for transport. However, you could also do your bit before handing it to the auto transporter. The first thing you must do is wash you car before its going to be picked up. This will help you see all the existing body damage to the car.
Before moving to your new residence, you check up on all your belongings; the same should be done for your vehicle.
No Extra Weight and Removal of Accessories
International moving companies will ask car owners to remove the extra weight of the vehicle in the form of extra gallons of gas and also the personal items that could be a part of your car. Also, it would be a good idea to remove all the customized accessories that are a part of the car. Features like fog lights, ground effects etc should either be secured or removed. This will help prevent damage to them.
Also, let your auto transporter know of any problems that are a part of the vehicle, especially start up problems.
